Spring is the season of the Wood Element -- rising energy, new vision, and the body's natural impulse to expand and grow. In Chinese medicine, spring belongs to the liver and gallbladder, guiding聽planning, clear decisions, and smooth flow.
聽
When we move with spring rather than against it, something in us lets go. The tension of the winter relaxes. Clarity returns. Direction returns.
聽
These three sessions meet that momentum and help you move with it -- so you feel grounded, open, and ready to rise.

Rooting & Rising
Findi the ground as聽you meet the season
Spring energy rises, but only from deep聽roots. We begin by connecting your聽body to the earth so every movement in this series feels stable, open, and alive.
Standing Like a Tree: Explore Standing Posture with attention to Dantian, Yongquan, Mingmen, and Baihui, so you feel steady through your feet, spacious through your spine, and calm at your center.
Liver Meridian: Understand the spring pathway and trace it automatically, so you can release stagnation and support smoother, more balanced energy in daily life.聽
Xu Sound: Practice the Xu liver sound to calm, soothe and regulate - an easy reset you can use anytime tension builds.
Parting the Wild Horse's Mane: Learn this Taiji movement to open outward and find space while staying rooted. In the Year of the Fire Horse,聽we channel that spirited freedom with grace and grounded courage.

Yielding & Returning
The intelligence of聽softness
Spring reminds us that growth is not force; it is intelligent yielding. A seed does not push through the soil; it finds the way of least resistance. In your body, softness is not collapse. It is skill. This session deepens your聽standing practice and adds聽a聽qigong and taiji movement that teach you to give, receive, and return without strain.
Standing Practice: Deepen your聽root so your legs feel alive, your spine unwinds, and balance comes with less effort.
Easting the Liver: Qigong to release held tension and restore smoother聽flow, so irritability releases and clarity returns.
Roll Back and Press: Learn聽the second Taiji movement of the series to yield, absorb, and return power with grace == staying connected, responsive, and calm.

Expression & Release
Moving into the fullness of the season
By late spring, the energy that was rising is ready to express. We'll聽work with the gallbladder, the organ of clear choice聽and courageous action, and extend the Taiji sequence聽so the whole series becomes one continuous, flowing practice.
Qigong for the Gallbladder: Support clarity, courage, and decisive follow-through, so choices feel cleaner and movement feels freer.
Push: We'll work the 'scrape and push' feel so you sense a clear returning path,聽lateral openness, coordinated power聽for smooth follow-through.
Bring it together: Weave all three sessions into one聽spring sequence you can return to anytime for grounding, ease, and uplift..
聽
Your spring practice is waiting.
